Dr. Kilgore-Nolan is passionate about using her platform to provide factual, digestible, and relevant health education, especially as it relates to empowering self-advocacy to navigate broken healthcare systems. On social media, her Defensive Wellness™ series highlights common patient experiences and provides evidence-based strategies to advocate for your own health and the health of others. Additionally, Dr. Kilgore-Nolan volunteers at health fairs and similar community events to support mental health equity and teach self-advocacy strategies. Clinical Interests

Dr. Kilgore-Nolan is currently taking a sabbatical while completing her MBA at Harvard Business School and prioritizing her own health and family as a cancer survivor and first-time mother, but she remains engaged in clinical research and health-related entrepreneurial activities. She previously served as a senior resident physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Kilgore-Nolan intends to focus her clinical career on the health and well-being of high-impact leaders and the communities they serve. Research Interests

Dr. Kilgore-Nolan takes her passion for helping her patients beyond the bedside to not only contribute to excellent clinical care, but also research issues and develop solutions that impact health outcomes. She has engaged in research funded by the National Institutes of Health at some of the most world-renowned and cutting-edge research centers at Emory, Duke, and Yale universities. Dr. Kilgore-Nolan’s primary research interest is leadership psychology and development. Her secondary research interests include mental health equity, healthcare workforce wellness, and cross-disciplinary teams.
